POQ works directly with the Quakertown Community School District guidance counselors to support students and their desire to participate in an extracurricular activity of their choosing. Guidance counselors assist students and their families with the application process and forward all necessary information to POQ. POQ case managers then work closely with the student, their families and local facilities or youth programs to enroll the student in their activity and monitor their participation. We have helped hundreds of Quakertown students since the inception of the program, but there are still more that need your help. For just a small donation, you can enable a child to participate in the activity they choose for one month. For example, the following are the approximate monthly costs of our top 5 most common activities that our children participate in:
